[solved] no 11R window in PT after ERXP upgrade

Hey guys,

I installed PT 8.0.5LE a few days ago.
I just installed the EXP and that went fine too. The Eleven Rack itself is updated too but when i open PT i don't get the guitarwindow?

Could there be a problem with the drivers? I went to avid.com/drivers before installing the EXP but when i wanted to install a new driver i could only choose between repair and remove ... maybe that's the problem?
Btw I have IE 7 and windows Vista.

Any help much appreciated.

Did you go to "Window" in Pro Tools and make sure Eleven Rack is checked?

Did you wait a couple more seconds than normal? Since the ERXP update, the 11R window (on my system) comes up more slowly than normal.

Did you confirm the Eleven Rack UI plugs are in your Plug-in folder?

C:>Program Files > Common Files > Digidesign > DAE > Plugins

Yes i waited a few minutes to get the 11R window but nothing ...
Concerning the plugins: what (new)UI plugs should exactly be there?
I found some new ones i think p.e. Xpand!.dpm.rsr, VariFi, ...

I dont think it added any new plug ins (at least i didnt notice a new entry), just updated the old ones.

Here is what i have:

Eleven Delay UI
Eleven Distortion UI
Eleven Dynamics UI
Eleven EQ UI
Eleven FX Look UI
Eleven Modulation UI
Eleven Reverb UI
Eleven Tuner UI
Eleven UI
Eleven Volume UI
Eleven Wah UI

.dmp and .dmp.rsr

Look at the DATE MODIFIED, are they updated to like 3/16 3/17

yeah those files were modified 3/17 but nothing from today (with the ERXP)?

and you DID go to WINDOW in PT and make sure Eleven Rack was checked?

Yeah thats easy to forget, especially when you update PT. Dont forget you can also choose to have the 11R mini window open in the edit window toolbar like this:
