Selecting one track instead of ALL tracks in the timeline.
I've just upgraded to PT9 from 7.3, needless to say it's a HUGE step forward (I was skeptical when AVID bought out digi, I'm always skeptical when things go corporate). Anyway, I seem to be expiriencing something that I know is a quick fix but is frustrating me and I've scrounged the Preferences pane and all other panes for a fix, but can't figure it out.
I have 3 tracks setup: http://i.imgur.com/CbZf9.png When I click one to edit (MIDI region) it opens ALL of them, as well when I want to duplicate a region (apple+D) it duplicates all of them in the timeline selection: http://i.imgur.com/BqUVj.png I know there's a way to do this but I just want to select ONE region on the track I want, not all of the regions on all tracks. Thanks for the help on this beginner question. -Tyler

Re: Selecting one track instead of ALL tracks in the timeline.
You probably have the tracks grouped, or you have the <All> group activated. Deselect the active group in the groups pane on the bottom left of the edit window.
