Default BlackMagic Decklink Issues - extended Desktop?

I work with a lot of 23.98 ProRes Files, and unfortunatly the Monitor is my bay isnt' compatible with 24p ProRes Files..

Questions:

A) Is there a way to force the resolution using the PCIe out optino in PT?

B) Is there a snow leopard compatible driver set for the BM HD Extreme 3, that has extended desktop (this worked for usunder Leopard w/ PT 8.01.

Computer is MacPro 8 core, 16g Ram, OSX 10.6.2, PT 9.02

No. The resolution is dictated by the movie on the timeline.

Unlikely. I think the last version of the driver that supported extended desktop was v7.2. Blackmagic removed this function because of some issues with Apple's Color that they didn't want to deal with.

could apply a 2:3 pull-down to get it to 29.97 using something like MPEGSreamclip.

Do you have Final Cut Studio? You could use Cinema Tools to do a conform to 29.97.

Hi, from the release notes in the 8.2 drivers :

What's new in Desktop Video 8.2

• Mac OS X 10.7 Lion support
• Extended Desktop for HD Extreme and Multibridge models

Seems to work only with 10.6.7 and newer....
