Default Anymix Pro

So I decided to take a risk mid-season.

I dumped Unwrap, and installed Anymix Pro.
Used the "Upmix" option on my music tracks, along with Lowender on an aux from an LFe send.
Used the "Upmix" option for some effects, along with Lowender on an aux from an LFe send.
Also another instance using their "5.1 Panning" option for other effects.

First, I passed 5.1 QC, along with the Neyrinck PL2 down mix LtRt.

I just watched it at home, and it sounded pretty much the same as Unwrap.
The average consumer will never tell me different.

Using the down mix function in my Sony receiver yielded similar happiness!!

Im not going to compare Anymix to Auromatic, as the later is awesome, but anyone needing a $225 upmix solution (for television) that works with Native, TDM, HDX (AAX 32 and 64) should not hesitate to have this in their arsenal.

The show is Cold Justice produced by Dick Wolf on TNT, the episode is "He said, he said"

Please listen if you could, let me know what you think.

I used it on PT10 with TDM, PT10 HDX, and PT11 HDX with the same results!!

I tried out the demo of anymix. It really messes with the phase of the content upmixed. I would be extremely careful of strict network QC here. For instance, I'm sure abc will not pass any music upmixed with that plug in. I do like the panning options.

I think Iosono needs to integrate LowEnder into their AnyMix Pro plugin.
That would be a killer.

No issue with phase in any step.

Ever been QCd by Technicolor??

They treat reality shows as if they were features.

QC also passed NBC Universal.

+1. Never had any phase issues with it while down mixing to LtRt.
Oposite to UM226, where I had to be very careful…well, with everything.

How do they check up mix phase content?

The only QC issue was with down mix phase.

Well the surrounds can have phase issues, but obviously you'll only hear it when summed back to LoRo or LtRt. This is what they'll be checking on the QC. I'm sure they won't care about the upmix, just how well it downmixes. I too have noticed that downmixes from AnyMix upmixed content are terrible.

I have no issues with Anymix Pro down mix, it sounds good, and passed both Technicolor, and NBC/Universal QC.

I was asking Brandonx1 about his QC rejection on the UP mix.
Or was that conjecture on his part.

In your previous post you said that there was a QC issue with phase on the down mix?
