Default Faders still jumpy

I've loaded the latest firmware, even went back & did each upgrade incrementaly, but when i touch the command 8 faders, they jump up and down by .4. Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes, it seems just as hard as setting levels with a mouse. I am also getting slow reaction or no reaction from things like arming tracks, start playback, record arm and RTZ among others. It seems like I have to hit buttons two or three times to get them to go. I also am getting sloppy midi transfer from my midi contoller some notes make it through some don't. Alot of stuck notes too. And on top of that the midi inputs on my 002R seem to be dissabled.

Thanks alot guys, I think that may have done it. I'll get to test more tomorrow. Right now I'm getting sleepy. And there is a redhead with a big booty waiting for me. No time for digi.

Hello,
I have had the "fader jitters" for a while, not on the command 8 but on the screen.
As soon as I touch a fader on the command 8 in the "touch" or "write" mode the related fader on the screen gets "the jitters". I experimented with this with a 1K tone and sure enough it played back the "jitter" moves and when I look at the volume in the edit window; just touching the fader has entered volume changes from .2 to .8 DB !!!! The strange one is that neither the command 8 fader or the fader on the screen showed the related volume changes upon play back, but the volume IS changing! I updated the firmware to V02.01.01 and it's still mixing itself !!! HELP!! HELP!! I'd rather do it myself !!
Ed
