Default Error 6117

win 10 Intel Celeron CPU N2830 @ 2.16GHz
Can not open pro tool 12 keep getting the ERROR 6117, I deactivated my sound devices in windows but do not know how to get my pro tools to be setup for sound with this Laptop. Pro tools closes every time I try to open even after I deactivated all my sound devices in windows.

"Intel Celeron CPU N2830 @ 2.16GHz"

Ouch, I doubt that CPU will run Pro Tools. Try Reaper, it will run on near anything. Pro Tools won't.

See the Help Us Help You link and go through the Troubleshooting and Optimization - and post a Sandra Report.

He has an 11Rack so if he uses that there is noo need for Asio4ll.

Are you using the 11R or do you want to use the built in sound? If yes then you do need asio4all.

Hi yes i know thanks chris !

Ive asked because there was an similar issue with others soundcards and PT First giving the same error . And the workaround is with the Asio4all . Beucase it isn't a common error he must try everything he can on order the get the origin .

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?p=2337667

https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-...ro-Tools-First

Also there is a chance that PT will load with the Asio4all for testing porpuse .

Btw he didnt say if he was using the 11 rack or built in card .
