Default Upgrade to HD freezes my dell xps420

Hi there,

I've finally made the upgrade to a hd2 but can't seem to make it on my dell xps 420 intel q6600 4GB ram ATI RADEON 3870 2xsata HD (jbod).
I tried it on vista, freezes after a minute or so after logon with both core and accel. With only the core card installed it seems to be working...
Installed W7 but this is freezing right after log in even with only 1 card installed. If I remove both cards everything goes well.

Power supply has a sustained max of 375W (which should compare to a 500-600W peak). I'm thinking this could be the problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.
I'll install xp tomorow and see how that goes.

Thanks,
Pierre

maddizzar,
While trying to make it work I inserted my core card in slot 3 and it worked so I inserted the accel card in the second slot and it was still working. I discovered in the windoze device manager that the core card was actualy in "port 2" and the accell in "port 3" so I'm guessing this was the issue for me.

Hope this helps,
Pierre
