can i use PT HD with my mbox 2 or do i need something else.
also what is the best way to upgrade my software.

Any help would be much appreciated
HD only works with HD hardware. Mbox is an LE interface only.

hmmm
was thinking of upgrading to the Music Production Toolkit but i dont think the 64 track limit is going to cut it

What would be the cheapest hardware option to run HD?

Well, I'm sure this has been mentioned... considering that Digi is offering 40-50% price reductions for LE-to-HD upgrades right now, I'm thinking they're trying to dump HD stock at fire sale prices... possibly because they are getting close to releasing their next gen HD? Dunno...

If I had $5k right now (to invest in gear) I'd wait six months, only to see if Digi releases anything. If they do, you can probably get an HD system even cheaper, or more power & features for the same $5k.
