Re: EZ Drummer w/Pro Tools 11
I have no issues with the SD update with PT11 however, when I attempt the updates for EZD 133, I get an error saying the update is already in the disk image. EZD is not available with PT11 as a result. Any suggestions?

EZ Drummer w/Pro Tools 11.2.0 does not show in Inserts
Dear Semi-Anonymous Friends,
I created a stereo Instrument track in ProTools 11.2 on my Mac -- and EzDrummer does not show up under any of the menus. I uninstalled it, went to Tunetrack website and loaded the latest updates, reinstalled--no joy. yet Logic Pro X shows EzDrummer. of course i don't want to use that program, which is why i bought Pro Tools. Thanks for your help, Rob [don't know if this automatically shows sysinfo i logged into the forum so-- Mac PowerBook OS 10.9.4 2.5 Ghz Intel Corei5 8GB 16000 Mhz DDR3 RAM 500 GB disk |

Re: EZ Drummer w/Pro Tools 11
I have been running all my Toontrack products with no issues for quite some time. This includes Superior Drummer as well. I am still at PT 11.2 and Mavericks 10.9.3.

Re: EZ Drummer w/Pro Tools 11
Am new here and not sure if you want me to post in this old thread or start a new one - anyway:
I just got an upgrade from M-powered 9.05 to 11.3.0. I removed the old version and installed the new one, no problem. I read that my plugins needed to be upgraded to contain the aax drivers and successfully did so for Guitar Rig 5. But EZdrummer was a different matter! I downloaded version 1.4.0, removed the old version and installed the new one. No EZdrummer options existing in PT. I have now tried the installation so many times and in every possible way I can imagine. I.e. I have uninstalled the previous install of EZ, then manually deleted every leftover directory from Toontrack I can find on the hard drive, then used Ccleaner to remove any false registry entries too. Then a complete shut down and reboot, before installing EZ 1.4.0 again. At the install it suggests to install into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\ but I have noticed that my other 64 bit plugins are located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\ so I have even tried that as well. However, the install doesn't listen to the link I give it and still install into the (x86) path. The actual aax plugin goes here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\EZdrummer.aaxplugin\Contents\x64\ After that I perform another reboot and start Pro Tools in a blank session. I create a new stereo instrument track and look under inserts in mono and multi channel - still no EZ to be found anywhere. I have tried several reboots and nothing happens. When I look in Windows control panel EZdrummer is correctly installed as 1.4.0. I have no idea what to do anymore and I am very tempted to purchase EZD 2 just to get this going. Wanted to spend the holidays recording with the new software but now they have gone to waste on this crap! Will be very happy if anyone can help, thanks. |

Re: EZ Drummer w/Pro Tools 11
Hi And Welcome
Have you read and done these steps exacly as printed here: http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/...-pro-tools-11/ When you done that trash preferences and databases and restart your computer and see if that helps. The trashing is important to avoid future problems even if the install works today Best Regards Christopher

Re: EZ Drummer w/Pro Tools 11
EZ Drummer 2 is AAX 64-bit. I just bought it, and it works well in PT11. According to a previous post they also upgraded the original EZ Drummer 1.x.x as well.
