Mbox > monitors > phase problems..how do i fix??
HI
I HAVE THESE POWERED MONITORS W/ NO PHASE SWITCHES. THEY'RE EVENT ASP6'S, HOOKED UP TO THE ORIGINAL MBOX LINE OUTS, AND I GOT A PHASE ISSUE. I READ ABOUT IT, AND ALL I COULD THINK OF DOING IS GOING INTO SETUP > OUTPUT > AND CHANGING THE OUTPUTS LEFT AND RIGHT TO BOTH MONO INSTEAD OF STEREO....BUT WILL THIS EVEN HELP??? ANYONE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH MBOX AND MONITORS? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP MIKE |

Re: Mbox > monitors > phase problems..how do i fix??
If youre SURE theres a phase 180 going on and theres no switching available, then youll need to make an adapter to switch it or lop the end off a cable and deal with it there.
XLR wiring standard is 1 screen 2 hot 3 cold. To reverese the phase invert 2 and 3. Peter NB It it your ears saying theyre out, or meters. Are you sure about the source materials phase integrity before presuming theres a tech issue? |
