Default 003+ Rack mV (millivolts) Levels?

Hello,
Im experimenting with using an old tape recorder as a mic pre and want to find what the mV (millivolts) is for the 003+ rack mic input and line outputs are? Digidesign dosen't seem to specify anywhere.

Here are the details of the tape recorder.

Grundig TK35.

Mic. input 1.5mv/1.5 Meg
Hi Z output 600 mv/ 5K

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Marz

output of the tape recorder should be line level
sending that into the mic pre of the 003 will most likely result in massive distortion of the signal

Thanks for the reply. That was my concern. Im a bit of a newbie when it comes to this. Is it possible to use a DI between the output of the tape recorder and 003 to match impedance? Its worth noting the tape recorder is from 1958 and the output is a 3 pin DIN so I will have to so some converting....Looks like its unbalanced as well. Cable that came with it is a 3 pin DIN to 3.5 mill TS.
