Copy multiple clips?
This is probably easy, just can't find the answer.
If I have clips, say on FX 1-5 and I want to copy and paste all at the same time for use elsewhere, how is this done? If I highlight all clip and chose copy, I am only able to copy one of the clips, not all five. Is there a way to do what I am asking? Thanks! |

Re: Copy multiple clips?
Object grabber and Relative grid mode is a fast way. Drag across the clips (they'll be outlined/framed to show that they're selected), and Option+click'n'drag a copy. I use Relative grid mode with 1 bar resolution all the time, but this is probably most suited for music.

Re: Copy multiple clips?
Thanks - this works. Wish I could do a cut and paste but can't have everything. I am sure there is a logic behind this that will strike me sometime in the future.
Thanks again! |

Re: Copy multiple clips?
You can cut and paste but you need to highlight/select all your destination tracks. At the moment it seems you're choosing just one destination track - shift click some more destination tracks and they should pop up.

Re: Copy multiple clips?
Make a region group out of the clips, then copy them, then select the tracks to be copied to and where on the timeline and paste as usual.
