new g4 Missing mix plug in and no dsp?

This has been quite a challenge. My system passes the digitest (newest version) but yet when I boot it says it needs A TDM mixer plugin in the plugins folders as well as a dsp farm. If this passes the digitest why can't it find it all? The plugin is where it is supposed to be. And the farm? I don't know. this is a a D24 system with one farm. BTW I found nothing in the doc's that say I have to leave a gap betweeen the host (expansion card) and the scsi card. The doc's say to put them next to each other. It was only here in duc that I found this out (After the system kept crashing with the "can't build dae desk". So all seems to be in the correct slots now what?

slot 2-host card
slot 3-Fuse card
slot 4-Atto Dual card
Expansion
slot 4-host card
slot 5-D24 card
Slot 6-DSP farm card
Now no TDM mixer plugin (although it lives where it should be) and no dsp farm shows up. HELP!

-What version of Pro Tools is installed?

-What versions of the 16 and 24 bit mixers are installed in the System Folder>DAE Folder>Plug-ins folder?

I've loaded 5.0.1cs1. The mixer is 16-bit Optimized Mixer version 1.8.1. Hope this helps. I'm running mac OS 9.1 and have loaded the DAE and DSI for 5.1. I was told this is the way to make it work w/9.1. Thanks

This happened with a friend's new system, where we had tried (unsuccessfully) to run a PT III system on a new G4/733, and he went ahead and purchased a Mix Plus. I took the 16 bit mixer plug-in out of the DAE Plugs folder, and everything worked fine.
