002 / beta-32 troubles and errors

Howdy,

I can't wait to get 32 tracks running on my 001 rig. I've noticed various posts regarding various error troubles and "bugs" with the new beta 32 software.

Perhaps we should devote one single thread to any and all troubles and errors that are being encountered with the beta 32 software... attempt to create a central spot for this info... sort of a "survey" of the problems. This may also be helpful to the digi people.

Perhaps any and all troubles should be listed here briefly, along with one's full rig configuration, situation, etc... Also, what sampling rate is being used when the errors occur, what clock is being used (ADAT or SPDIF or internal...?)... etc.

I surely hope that any troubles and bugs can be worked out of the new beta 32 software.

I am personally about to mix a very important project with a serious deadline. Having 32 tracks would make things SO MUCH EASIER, but I am a bit scared of having major problems due to potential bugs with the new software etc... wondering if I should hold off on the 32 for now... it is tempting though... think I may take a chance, but.... for everyone's sake, let's try to focus in on whatever "bugs" this software might have and try to find solutions asap. Hopefully Digi will be behind us.

I would like to extend a HUGE thanks to Digi for giving us eight more tracks... at this point, for me, the extra 8 tracks is allowing me to continue using PTLE as opposed to moving to different system.... 24 tracks just isn't cutting it anymore in my situation. So Digi, thanks for saving my ass and making me extremely happy.
