Default Low-Latency internal CCTV suggestions?

Hi all, am just upgrading my studio security, & I was wondering if anyone had suggestions re:low-latency CCTV?

Reason being, I was hoping to put in a system that would allow me to visually cue musicians in one my live rooms (that doesn't have line-of-sight).

All the systems i've looked at in shops have a notable lag in them which wouldn't be a problem for the intended use, but are hopeless for this.

I realise the older analog 'TV lines' systems don't suffer from this, but I wanted to fit something modern that could be monitored off-site from my phone etc.

Any ideas?

No matter what you install if you're monitoring from off-site you're still going to have delay, however small or large it may be. And if the signal goes over a satellite the delay is even worse. Add in the encryption you're going to want and it gets even messier.

One thing that may help is to keep it analog as much as possible. To that end, my old studio had success running cameras directly to the screens(no switcher or security DVR involved). The cameras came with 100' cables for power and video. I found converter boxes that took the BNC video in and output on VGA. I attached those boxes to the backs of 19" flat screens(older 4:3 format). The only issue I had was the picture might go from color to B&W, depending on the lighting(more expensive cameras might help there)
