Default PT 7.2 and Multiple Video Clips Question

In PT 7.2 can you have multiple QuickTime movies in the timeline or is this functionality only limited to Avid Media/Mojo users?

Also, are PT 7.2 sessions directly downward compatible with 7.1 or do you need to do a "save as". I understand that features in 7.2 would be lost when opened in 7.1, but are the session files the same?
