I believe either are possible with the 002, but the ART only has one stereo input i think, so you could split the same mix 4 ways.. ff

To clarify what has been said here. The 002 is capable of 4 mixes, IF you use the SPDIF out as your control room. That particular headphone amp looks like it CANNOT do 4 separate mixes. It could feed 1 mix to 4 sets of phones, and MAYBE 2 mixes so each player could choose A or B. A better solution could be done with the Behringer HA4700 headphone amp. That one has 4 sections that each can receive a main stereo feed, and each section has an AUX input, which could be a stereo(or mono) mix to each of the 4 sections. What I do is a hybrid. I feed the main stereo mix to the main inputs of the 4700 so all 4 players get that. Then I send a mono "more me" feed to each section using up to 4 mono aux sends, fed to analog outputs 5 thru 8. While this is not how the whole system SHOULD work, by building special cables for the 4 sends, it works great(balanced mono on one end, to UNbalanced stereo summed at the other end. Here is how to wire that cable if you ever need it: http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...wiringcopy.jpg

I do the same as albee1952. I use the bus's to control hom much of each track is going to the headphones. I use the analog outs on the Digi002 to go to a Behringer 4 channel headphone amp (cheap on Ebay). The Behringer has a mix knob that allows me to mix in a live signal, such as the direct monitoring out on a Great River preamp with the signal from ProTools. You can use the 8 analog outs on a 002 and send whatever you want to it in the I/O area of PT. I monitor from the S/PDIF outs into an Apogee Rosetta so my analog outs are freed up for headphone mixes.

Huh? The Art 406 has a insert for each channel. It would be a mono mix for each channel. He just needs four analog outputs from his 002 and four TRS leads.

Mono cue mixes... long gone. But If the OP needs 4 discreet mixes that is about the only way to do it (with that hardware). YUK!! so 70's!
