Feature wish for EuCon PT

Since you're working on EuCon for PT, could you please include a feature that lets the user assign a track to a physical fader. Maybe a small pop-up object on a track in the mix window, that lets you choose a physical fader on a control surface for that track. That way, I could assign dedicated faders for (stem and fx) groups and the master fader, and have the remaining faders to nudge around.

Does this make any sense?

No, not really? (sorry...;-) If I understand you correctly you would like to lock let's say the Mastertrack on fader 1, Rev 1 on fader 2 and Rev 2 on fader 3 - if you do that those faders will be there even when you "bank" the remaining 5 faders. That feature is already in the EUcon protocol and you can use it in Logic 9. You can see this being done in the videos on the Euphonix homepage. When I get round to it I will get a MC Control to my setup and figure out how to lock the four faders of the Control and "bank" the mix faders. Perhaps someone has already figured out how to do it in Pro Tools, but the advantage of the HUI is that I get 8 faders on my Digi002 + 8 faders on the MC Mix + Tranport working parallel with the Digi002 and it "banks" all 16 faders at a time working as a unit. Smoth.
