Invalid fades on playlist "?"

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it seem like a competition of who uses more fades. Just a matter of my situation.

I still find it odd that it would find it at the location I described in my previous post. This is just a 20 minute reel!

But as long as this doesn't harm the session as I've been told (I still haven't investigated fully) then I'm gonna keep ignoring the message.

I've just had that message

'invalid fades detected ' at some ridiculously high seesion time where no fades existed..

(trashed dbs etc, trashed and re-created fades, etc... peoblwm still around, with session)

Since i had a very large session (5 reels in one, 192 channels) i split it up into reels, 'invalid fades' message was gone afterwards.

Just closed my session and re-opened. PT10HD comes up with a

"The following invalid fades were detected: Fade out at 347222:59.463 on Playlist "?""

What does this mean? What is playlist "?". My session doesn´t contain a playlist with that name.

Saved the detailed note text file. It says: "These fades can not be re-created if they go offline" Problem is: What is an offline fade according to PT10?!

Another strange thing is that you can´t even enter a bar with 6 digits. Bar 43201 is maximum in my session.

How am I supposed to find and get rid of the corrupt fade?

Actually haven´t seen these corrupt fade errors since PT6.

Also: I din´t actually do anything. The error just occurred between one close and one open of the same session. Nothing changed in between.

I can send out an offline session in case DTS is interested.

What does "Playlist "?" " mean? Where is playlist "?".

Also how can I go to bar number 347222:59.463 to find and eliminate that illegal fade?

In the meanwhile my session has "gathered" hundreds of these invalid fades on playlist "?".
Every time PT asks me if I want to save a detailed note and I hit "yes" nothing happens and I'm left with a stuck progress bar and a cancel button.
When I click it I only get a ping from the OS.
The only way out is to force-quit PT.

Is there a way to get rid of these fades? They seem to live in a location I don't have access to (see earlier posting). I'd love to post the details report but PT won't let me save it.

I'm also getting this error. It started after I cleared a bunch of unused clips from my session. HELP PLEASE AVID!

I still get this in PT11. Opened my work-session this morning and a bunch of fades where flagged on playlist "?".

Nothing had changed over night. Simply saved yesterday, opened today. No invalid fades when I left off. Today there's a whole list of them

Happened again in 11.1.3. Opened a session in the morning and got the same errors out of the blue that won't go away anymore.

I'm also having this "?" error message with one of my current session. It came after I reverted session using backup file. Otherwise session is fine but it would be nice to remove those corrupted parts of it.
I would also like to know how to remove those "?" files/fades. There is no '?' named playlist in my session.

(Exporting session didn't help).
