Setup question
Hello,
I have a 192 and a Control 24 (the old one). Both pieces of hardware are connected with a DB 25 connector (192 audio out to control-24 audio in). I am only doing stereo mixes. But because of the DB25, I am waste audio outs that I could use for external gear. Can someone tell me if there is a procedure/config to do on control 24 so that I can start using the "wasted audio outs" ? Regards, Nils. |

Re: Setup question
Just wire up a DB25-MXLR cable to go from your 192 and a DB25-FXLR to connect to the main inputs of the Control|24, then connect outputs 1 and 2 to the Main L-R input that you'd want to use. You'll have the other 6 channels there on MXLR to connect to anything you'd like. You can buy those cables pre-made for about $100US each or build them yourself for about $30US each.
Another option would be to wire your gear up to a patchbay so that you'll have the flexibility to connect your studio however you need it to be. |

Re: Setup question
Thanks Shawn,
I was hoping there was a way to not do any cable surgery - Cheers, Nils. |
