Do I need a SSL certificate for my Digidelivery
Hello everyone,
I purchased a Digidelivery LT last year but I have been reading the manual again this week and noticed it recommended using SSL encryption to login in. I was wondering if anyone else was using SSL certification with their Digidelivery server ? If anyone is using it which of the SSL providers did you use for your certification, thwarte ? Thanks |

Re: Do I need a SSL certificate for my Digidelivery
Only if you want encrypted access for security reasons. Having a certificate would allow you to administrate the server securely, and would allow anyone accessing their account info to do it securely. Anyone with an account on your server can access their personal info and change stuff like password and e-mail.
You can create a self-signed certificate without submitting it for for verification. It just expires in three months.
