Is there a version of IE for the Mac? I hate using IE on my PC.

I don't see an update button anywhere on the page.

It should be over on the left side of the page. under the menu area that says Manage Licenses:
  1. Move Licenses
  2. Transfer Licenses
  3. Download Licenses
  4. Redeem Licenses
  5. Buy Zero Down Time
  6. Account Profile
  7. Order Status
  8. Account History

Under that is a Square Box that will say "Found iLoks"
Then will list the iLok name. And under that it will say "Update" (synchronize)

If you don't have the correct software installed or are using an unapproved browser like my favorite, Chrome, that square box will say:

"Your ilok.com software needs to be updated. Get new software before doing any ilok operations."

For Windows systems I find IE8 or IE9 are the best to use for the iLok.com website.

If you are using FireFox make sure it is version 3.x

FF 4,5 don't work, I don't think 7 works, and I just tried ver. 8 and that doesnt work for me either.

Safari 4+ is said to work on the iLok site. I just tried Safari ver. 5.1.2 and it did not work for me, but I am on Windows 7.

I've had problems like this before even when using approved Browsers and ended up just using another computer to get licenses on to my iLok.

I think the last version of IE for Mac was released in 2003.

Yes, it says right on the iLok.com site:

For Mac
Quote:
OS X 10.3.9 or higher (except 10.4.4)
Safari 4+, or Firefox 3.5+ (recommended)

For Windows
Quote:
Windows 7, Windows Vista®, Windows XP
Firefox 3.5+, Internet Explorer 8+ (recommended)
And at the top of the page it says under Manage Licenses:

Quote:
We are working on compatibility with Firefox 4 and 5 - in the meantime, please use Firefox 3.x or another supported browser.
I prefer Chrome for every other site but it does not work on iLok.com, so I prefer IE for iLok.com (I'm on Windows by the way)

I just figured out that iLok.com would not "see" my iLok 2 all of sudden even after jumping through all the usual hoops. Old iLok 1 fine. all other USB stuff disconnected so......

I downloaded Chrome, installed the Client and Driver stuff and all good now.

MacTel 8-core Westmere, 10.6.8, Pro Tools 10.2 HD1 Accel

Thanks hope that helps someone out there with similar.

Be sure you are using the 32 bit version of Explorer. It's not compatible with the 64 bit.
