MOTU midi express pc
Hi,
I'm new here, and to ptle on a carillon pc. Configured for me when shipped...hmm...my problem I think is the motu. I have everything going in and out of the 8 ports, but midi playing is crashing the system. Any tips most welcome. |

Re: MOTU midi express pc
What version of Pro Tools are you using?
I experienced GPF errors when using a MOTU MIDI ExpressXT with PT LE 5.0.1 and Win98 SE. I have not experienced any issues with PT LE 5.1 or 5.1.1. Brent |

Re: MOTU midi express pc
thanks for the reply,
I'm using pt le 5.1.1 on a purpose built pentium 3. The thing is I have gigasampler on also. I think I may have a conflict which I can't work out yet. I've become slightly jittery over the MXP though, not sure its drivers are up to the job. Maybe there's a more stable midi port out there...! Cliff |
