Default PT 11/12 bug

I do quite a bit of half speed recording for pitched cartoon voices, but as a recent PT11 and 12 upgrade user I'm seeing them both impart tons of clicks and pops, but 10 does not. Anyone else noticing that? Any ideas?

I've tried different sample rates and buffer sizes, which the 2048 buffer setting helps a bit, but there are still artifacts. I've also tried ignoring errors which also helps a tad too, but not enough to have usable recordings.

Despite that problem, I'm liking 12 a lot. Snappier and lower CPU usage in the sessions I've A/Bed with 11.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I'm not using elastic audio, though. I'm talking recording at half speed (shift+command+space) so playback will be double speed and pitched up.

If I'm being dense, please forgive me.
