Video Firewire Out
Ok.
Can someone tell me how to enable this? ...or what I need to enable it?..DVtoolkit? We're running PTLE7.0 (DigiRack-factory) in our main studio. I hooked up a DV deck but the menu option is grayed out. I have an AvidStudio running on a separate editing workstation. Is there something in the AXstudio installer package that I can use to help our PTLE system? I will appreciate any help. Thank you. |

Re: Video Firewire Out
Hey,
If its greyed out, usually means that the video in the session isnt DV. But it sounds like you dont have video in the session, so perhaps try a programme like Virtual VTR which might be abe to integrate and PT should see that as a valid device which can control your deck. |

Re: Video Firewire Out
Thanks.
I do have imported a quicktime movie. the DV format should be it. We're doing a video voice dubbing project. We took an alternate direction using a VGA splitter to send a mirror of my second monitor to the talent. I will try the DV format. thank you. |

Re: Video Firewire Out
From what I understand, video firewire out is a Mac only feature in Pro Tools.
