Default PT10 w/CPTK to PTHD 11 migration questions regarind old sessions

i have PT10 w/CPTK and long ago purchased the migration to PTHD 11.

My question is...once i activate my PT11HD license, will i still be able to open old projects I did using previous versions of ProTools? IE i have a powerpc still in the corner and every now and again i fire it up to do something with an old project. Since back then protools didn't require an iLOK, connecting my hardware let it open. I have a bunch of projects done with PT8, 9 or 10 with CPTK and i've archived drives with old OS and old PT version installed. If i needed to open a snow leopard PT9 project i fire up that drive and my current PT10 w/CPTK will open the session. if i activate my PTHD 11 license will it still allow me to open a snow leopard PT9 project with all the tracks and surround features i used at the time? I want to do this because i don't necessarily have all the latest versions of the plugins used and those sessions are authorized with what i owned at the time. Make sense?

Would love a solid answer on this.

Old sessions will open fine but be aware of 3 details:
1- SD II files are no longer supported and need to be converted to wave format on your older system.
2- some stock plugins have been replaced so your old mixes may need some attention to recreate what you had(Dverb and delay are 2 that have changed)
3-all
Of your current plugins will need updating(expect to spend something for this)

I get that if imopen PT11 I'll need new plugins and sessions will still open in PT 11 but will i still be able to open a PT10 session on mountain lion and retain the functionality imhad with the CPTK? (You mentioned those obsolete plugins, thats why id want to open an old os/old software install...so,imdont have to recreat anything, just access what i've always been able to open with my owned software)?

Maybe a mod can chime in, but I thought an 11HD licence would also include 10HD. Sticking the iLok into the old rig SHOULD(in theory) allow the old system to open as 10HD(with all the features of 10+the toolkit)

That's what I'm hoping. I bought the upgrade to 11HD long ago but haven't activated because i'm afraid of losing access to open previous versions of ProTools while retaining my functionality.

You should be able to see what all is in the bundle in license manager before activating it.
