A dealer told me on the phone today that I would have to wait 6-8 weeks to upgrade to HD from my PTIII rig because he says that customers buying new rigs (ie: not upgrading) get priority!!! Is this true Digi???

Sam Ash Pro in NYC were the ones who said I had to wait 6-8 weeks. I've found other dealers since who can deal right away. E-mail me if you want info.

Don't we still have to buy our ProTools system from the dealer assigned to our part of the country? Some of these posts make it sound like we can buy from any dealer.
