Default Electrical nightmare!

Hi All,

I'm "temporarily" living in Finland, and when I moved I lugged along a fair amount of my gear. Of course, being the forgetful person I am, I realized after blowing a fuse or two that the voltage in most of the european countries is 220v while that in the states is 120v.....Is there any workaround to getting a voltage converter or is that my only option?

Sort of off topic, but sort of on topic too.....

Evan Karjalainen

Hey Evan..
What were you thinking dude ??
Yes..a line transformer 220>110 with high enough load rating is the answer. If your devices dont have a switching power supply.
good luck,

Default Change of Venue

Hi all. Moving overseas in a few days. Any advice, do's and don'ts, lessons learned on moving a 120V home studio to a 220V home studio would be greatly appreciated.
