Avid Artist Mix Series Eucon 8 Fader Studio Audio DAW question

Hi

Can anyone here please tell me if this Avid Artist Mix Series Eucon 8 Fader Studio Audio DAW will allow me to punch in record mode on the fly using my foot pedal in pro tools 11.1.2? Let me be clear NOT in loop mode, quick punch mode.

I've called music stores no one knows.

I bought the PreSonus Faderport and it only allows me punch in record thru foot pedal in loop mode NOT quick punch mode. Very disappointed with the Faderport, I like its other features too.


I cant believe I have to pay over 1k just to be able to punch myself in on the fly when I have an instrument in my hands.

Meanwhile, my Faderport works flawlessly for quick-punch. Actually, using the same foot-switch and comparing plugging in via my 003, or the Faderport, punches done on the 003 are awful(glitches and always needing trim edits), while punches via the FP are almost all perfect. Not sure what's going on for you, but I do need to hit the SHIFT button on the FP or the footswitch does stop/start instead of quick-punch
