But it doesn't sound like a reunion. If I understand correctly their avatars are going out on tour, not the actual ABBA band members.

My comparison was merely in the arrangements of their respective songs...certainly not in the look, sound or genre of them.

With time I've come to appreciate their music. As a teenager I didn't really care for them except for 1 or 2 songs that really liked - I was more into metal... I think to this day, musically they're in a different league than most pop bands/artists. The Day Before You Came (ironically it's their last recorded song) is still one of the best songs I've ever heard.

As for the Beatles comparison, I guess it's not acceptable to criticize the Beatles in any way or another so... ABBA arrived at a different time, with a different genre, so it's hard to compare them anyway. I think they wrote songs that were far too elaborated and complex than disco deserved. Having said that I've heard many things that, to me, are more interesting than The Beatles. Don't get me wrong I don't deny their immense talent, it's just that their songs rarely touch me.

I was referring to the 2 new songs recorded which is a reunion, even if they weren't all recording in the same studios...

Personally, I wouldn't bother going to a concert like this. If I'm going to pay for a performance, the artists had better be there in person!

Imagine going to a "live" Rolling Stones concert 50 years from now! I won't be around then, but it may be a good experience for people who aren't even born yet. But I agree with you Chris, I wouldn't pay to see a performance if the artists aren't there in person.

Keith may be the only one of them still alive in 50 years! 120 year old rocker.
