Default Bug report Digi-Extensions and Toast CD-Reader

Dear Digi,

There is a conflict between the Digi extension set of ProTools 5.1.x , and the Toast CD-reader extensions v 5.0 , 5.02 , and 5.1 .

The Toast cd-reader extension allows external cd-writers (via firewire or scsi), to be seen in the sound control panel as an audio input device. This allows auditioning audio cd's thru the audio output the Mac (and the Digi hardware offcourse).
If the Digi extensionset is disabled, skipping tracks is no problem (ex. jumping from track 2 to track 9), but if the Digi extensions are active, the sound comes nicely out of the Digi-hardware, but skiping tracks on the audio cd's becomes impossible, on the internal as well on the external cd-r's !
This is a symptom on 3 different Mac's (G3/400 B//W, G4/450, G4/466), all running OS 9.1

Please could you tsjek this out , and short circuit this problem with Roxio, so that this very inconvienient bug becomes history??
I need desperately this function!

Thank you so much,

Huby

We have tried this and can skip around just fine with the toast extension 5.02, iTunes 2.02 and the 5.1.3 Digi extensions.

Perhaps something else is conflicting...try a Mac OS base set with Digi extensions and the Toast extension and see how things perform.

Brent
