Default Dumb question for Keyboard players ...

I decided to use the DB33 instrument plug for a nice leslie/hammond sound and my keyboard (with this plug only) is 'de-tuned'. The notes are not where they are if I select a piano plug ... what am I missing here?
Thx!

well, your keyboard probably has a detune wheel, which is activ, when you use the DB 33, but isn't supported by the piano plug in

Could be a few things. Your keyboard could be transposed(by you or by someone else that fussed with it). You could have your midi properties set to transpose on the way in. In any case, once midi is recorded, its easy to select it all and transpose by any amount. Troubleshooting is a matter of being systematic and eliminate things one by one until you find the culprit

Thanks guys. I have an Axiom Pro 49 - there's no detune wheel on it. Midi data doesn't look out of whack. I can leave everything the same on a track and just change the plug to another instrument and it doesn't do it. So it appears to be the plug: it's off by a tone ie. play a 'B' to sound an 'A' ... doesn't do that for any other plug ... I was more wondering whether this was a hammond B3 thing ? No worries. Thanks again!
