Default Your Opinion: FW1814 / ProjectMix

Hi 1&All

Jus like to find out what you guys think of the quality of the Mic/Instrument Preamps on ProjectMix & FW1814; basic digitization or premium? Also correct me if I'm wrong; for MIDI, shouldn't make too much of difference regardless of the kind of interface you're using(assuming all things equal). Guess by this you kno I'm no audio expert; more musician than anything else really.... Appreciate your comments
