Default SynthMaster (Windows OS)

First and foremost, for what it's worth, I'd like to thank the KV 331 Audio team for your efforts in bringing SynthMaster to the Pro Tools VI arsenal. Personally, I'm looking forward to what SynthMaster has to offer and will be popping the hood very shortly, however, upon launching either the Standalone or RTAS versions, this message is presented:

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

This has been followed twice on both an XP OS and an XP Pro OS resulting in the same message each reinstallation.

Ummm...

I can confirm this. It's exactly what happened on my system.

It might not be as ready as you think, Bulent.

Also, the uninstall link that is deposited in the Start menu folder doesn't work; it has no target.

I had to uninstall from the Control Panel Add/Remove.

Hmmm... that's odd, because that function does work for me.

What I should say is, it works on Windows XP Pro, but not on XP Home Edition.

Bump

Looks like Microsoft has changed the way common dll's are installed, apparently it's not sufficient to place them on the $system32 folder anymore. I figured out the fix, will update the installer hopefully this weekend.

Sorry for this incovenience folks.

Folks,

I just uploaded the correct installer on the web site again, after running my "smoke" tests. Everything should install just fine now.

Once again, the download link is:

http://www.kv331audio.com/downloads.aspx

I hope you guys really like it and use in your sessions,

Bulent

Folks,

SynthMaster Free! has been mentioned on Harmony Central and Electronic Musician web sites this morning, and we'll be on the "Digi Developer News" next month hopefuly.

I hope everyone who downloaded SynthMaster had fun with it
