Default conforming question !!!

I'm getting more and more work mixing for short film/video from independent producers. Most of them edit on Media100 or Final Cut.
I usually get the complete bounced audio files of each seperate audio tracks along with an EDL. I then bring it in PT, place all audio at the beginning of the PT session and everything syncs perfectly ( assuming the start time in PT and my video is the same ). This method of working is not bad but you loose all handles unless you ask the video editor to manually do it before exporting.
I was wondering if by getting Titan or Post conform, i can just get all the origianal audio files ( instead of the bounced audio ) with an EDL and point Titan or Postconform to the original audio files. Will this work ??? Thanks

dw,

Yep, in Post Conform you can link your EDL events to files (source files).

Danny,

Are you sure it works with media created in Media100 or FCP ??? I tried it with M100 files and only 10 % of my files got spot to the proper location...i mostly get message saying the the source audio file is not the same length as the EDL..strange !!! Any idea ??THanks
