Default Digi releasing M-Box at Namm

Ok, don't get too excited. When I first heard this I thought wow a new version of X-BOX and finally a use for that Joystick connector on the back of the Digi001.

Will be a USB device with 2 Mic pres for Mac and PC, bundled with PTLE and selling for around 450.00. No mention of firewire yet.

M-Box isn't the only thing that will be debuting at NAMM...

Carillon USA launches January 17th.

Come on Gil, give us the low down. I've heard that the TDM Mix system is going to 24 or 32 bit/196khz. Wonder if Digi001 will get 24/96? If I were in Digi's shoes I would offer at least three Digi001 versions for consumers. One with firewire 24/96khz, one with high end preamps. like a built in Neve and 24/96 converters, the other one with similar setup to Digi001 now with 24/96 converters. All with unlimited audio tracks. Prices could be adjusted based on cost of building the system. Just a thought.

Well Allen, I could tell you - but then I'd have to kill you.

Digi has a few things up their sleeve, I for one am excited. But I'm afraid you'll have to wait for NAMM for the full scoop.

Apple has some surprises too, to be announced at Macworld San Francisco Jan 7th.

It's all good. Power to the people!!

the market potentail for digi for products that span the gap between 001 and TDM is HUGE.I am sure they will come up with many products over the next year for this. The keywords should be divercity, flexibility and of course stability.Parity between the two platforms is also a must and loong overdue.
Im holding my breath.
