PT 12.7 extremely long loading times, Fails to load session, crashes on Quit
Hi
Just installed 12.7 on top of 12.6.1. Starting PT takes double or tripple time. PT 12.7 does not load my current session from 12.6.1 Load time takes several minutes then it hangs Sometimes it hangs on Masterbus sometime on reverb bus. Quitting PT alway results in hanging PT and forces a "forceQuit" Reinstalled 12.6.1 and session loaded quick and withoiut errors. Waiting for 12.7.1now Ale System was a 10.9.5 MacBook Pro

Try to trash the preference.

i had the same problem I did a complete Clean uninstall including PT 10
and re installed about 3 times working beautifully I'm not sure if it really is apt but before i did the clean uninstall i deleted the new Protools plugins "Gray Compressor" etc because after i installed those into 12.7 it gave me plenty trouble just like yours
