Default 'Bounce in Place' or 'Bounce to tracks'?

Hi I just moved to PT9 from Cubase.. I notice there does not seem to be a 'Bounce in Place' or 'Bounce to tracks' feature? Does this mean I have to manually import tracks after I bounce them? I have already consigned myself about no fast bounce in PT, but if there is no way to 'bounce in place or to tracks' then I'm in really big trouble. I compose with a great deal of Midi virtual instruments and absolutely must have this feature!
Thanks so much

your in big trouble = no bounce in place.

all recording in pro tools is real time.

you may layback multiple tracks to disk at the same time using available bus'

Holy s**!!!! I just wasted a ton of money today!!! All that advertising about film composers using PT, composing with midi, etc.. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!
I scored a several network and feature films with Cubase and moved to PT for the midi/score sibelius integration features that seem to be really great (i.e. Avid's flashy James Horner videos). Everyone told me goto Logic for composing, but I moved to PT because I have a PC based system. Should have done my homework.. I just took for granted something this simple would be in the program. If you read about a film composer who keeled over in the news tomorrow you will know who it is.

I guess I'll try your layback multiple tracks to disk at the same time using available bus suggestion... good lord

I think you should work with PT for a bit. You may find that its not as big a deal as you think. your just trying to render your midi "yes"? you may also try using PT in conjunction with another DAW as you can simply export your midi when you need to render

Yes i'm rendering midi. I wanted to avoid using another DAW - I know some composers like Mark Isham use two DAWS (Logic to Protools) but honestly, I love PT's score view features and want to use it as my only DAW for scoring. At least I'm going to give it a try. Using the layback method should work ok - I just panicked for a bit there. Other than that I'm very pleased with the midi features.
thanks for your help!

As for bouncing back into the session, I would just bus to new tracks.

Glad you found that video Arkadi, remeber to optimize volume to avoid clipping when recording (bouncing) to an audio track. Also remember to adjust pan so that during mixdown there is nothing set in stone. (I sometimes do some panning during composition or recording just to get a feeling of separation and order).

Good Luck
