In the Waves world you have the original EQ like the Q10- its great for clical/surgiacal operations and will not color the sound. The Waves Renaissance EQ has characteristics of analog EQ designs. The Waves Linear Phase EQ is a totally transparent mastering EQ.

HI,
try out this:

http://www.ursonlinestore.com/Mercha...egory_Code=DUC

they go for $100 for DUCers which would normally cost $300
There is also a Demo on the URS homepage, but it needs an iLok.

I am quite selfish here since I consider buying it but I don´t have an iLok at hand right now or within the next week to take the N12 for a testdrive, so any comment would be very appreciated.

best and thanks.

masterq by pspaudioware.com is a great one! though it's still vst only... they expect to release rtas this quarter, but so far no news. i like it a lot

for regular eqing in the mixes i use either renn eq (which comes in 2/4/6 filter versions) or the 4-filter eq which is included in renn channel plug. four filters is usually enough and if it isn't, i tend to start looking for the trouble elsewhere.

Bomb Factory's (Digi's) Pultec EQ is fantastic. Worth the money.

Sony Oxford EQ with the GML option. There is nothing that compares.
