Default OT: Spectrasonics + intel ...any word?????

still "patiently" waiting for the intel versions of Trilogy and Atmosphere
Spectrasonics said "in the fall"..... and here we are!
They weren't at AES and the website statement hasn't changed in months.

Yeah, Eric only says that its' going to be BIG, really BIG when it DOES get here. He did let slip that it won't be a single new product, but MORE than one thing.

You remember how Trilogy, RMX and Atmosphere were pretty revolutionary when they were introduced? My guess is that something that revolutionary is nearing the beta stage.

Maybe we'll all feel the need to trash our Trilogys and Atmospheres since they will be so far surpassed?

sounds exciting...
but in the mean time, as a loyal Spectrasonics fan/user, I REALLY miss my trilogy and atmosphere sounds.
come on eric, throw us a bone - what's up?

The longest wait since Metric Halo's ChannelStrip port to Mac OS X.

I don't mind waiting, as long as the manufacturer keeps me posted. Show some effort. Lie to me. This has long got juvenile, at best.

No excuses. Period. If you are professional, you will understand.

The Mac Intel update/ upgrade or whatever should be free. If I even care to update/ upgrade.

at the very least!

2 of my fav VI's have been rendered useless for over 8 months.
they could at least give us an update on the estimated date of availability.

Eric Persing from Spectrasonics posted on bigbluelounge.com that the UBs will be available 'early next month' and that 'you will be pleasantly surprised by the price.'
