i agree but command numeric 1 shows you all the necessary info for now..
and since PT sample rate can not be changed mid project, unlike other daws, there's no real need for it, imo.

Command 2 is the set up page. Command 1 is the transport.

Yes that shows your session info, but you could still have a clock mismatch and you'd never know it, even with session setup. Maybe its never happen to some of you. But I was jumping between 3 different projects today (from 3 different sources) and all 3 had different sampling rates and sure enough I forgot to switch my master clock one time. If Avid would do something like my graphic, we would know in an instance if there was an issue.

Fair point. The session setup window is not something that is always open in my sessions
