Pro Tools freezes on shutdown or when importing files
I have had the Pro Tools not responding freeze dozens of time during shutdown as well as during importing file both audio and video.
3I have even reinstalled 10.3.3 6 time and that has changed nothing. It's getting very annoying and hard to get a project done, at least I don't have client hanging around. They would be droping like fly's I have deleted PT 10 each time I reinstalled as recommended by AVID This and many other thing need to be fixed sooner than later. |

Re: Pro Tools freezes on shutdown or when importing files
It's probably not Pro Tools, but Aero in Windows 7. Pro Tools is still working, just the screen freezes while it's doing its thing. When you go to import, don't do anything with the mouse and see if the same thing happens. If it's Aero, you can disable it, but your screen won't look so pretty.
