Dolby 5.1 and DTS plug-in by Kind of Loud :)

This might interest some of you:

It states that Kind of Loud is starting the development of a 5.1 and DTS en/decoding plug-in for ProTools. Interesting!
Somebody has more info on this topic?

Depends on what info you're looking for: there's a good mailinglist for surround production, Dolby has very good info on their site and, well.... Kind of Loud makes the only Surround Panner I know of (for Protools TDM that is).
The Encoder plugs from Dolby (also TDM) are pretty expensive, so maybe this headline is might be good news indeed !

Personnaly, I hope they will make a RTAS panner as well !
