No activation email?

I apologize for the redundancy of this subject...but I purchased Pro Tools 8 LE from a guitar center Summer 2011...It took me this long to lose the disc and now I have a new computer. After searching for hours on end for my registration card, i finally found it in my microphones box (i dont know why), registered the information but have not received any email or activation code. any help or preferably an email with my activation code so i can get back to recording would be greatly appreciated.

Pro Tools LE 8 used an authorization code that would have come with the original purchase. Not an activation code, which you would use to get the iLok license for Pro Tools 9 or 10.

Since you have registered the product, you should contact Avid support for a replacement PTLE 8 authorization code, and they should be able to help you.

The activation code may have been on the disk sleeve, so if you are not able to find the disk, you may not be able to find the sleeve either. Look through whatever may have come with the purchase and look for the Authorization Code that begins with "DIGI08".

I have the authorization code, n that's what I thought. but I don't know how to download the software off the website..
it asks for a activation/download code and I don't have either.
