Default Profire2626 Pan Issue...

Hey guys,

My name is Cory, I've been running Pro Tools 8 M-powered for few years now. I use a Profire2626.

Honestly have no idea when this panning problem started to occur.

Here is what I have done so far...

Re installed PT 8 with newest updates and drivers.

Re installed Profire2626 as well with update and drivers.

Reset the entire Profire2626 back to factory default in all tabs.

Reset I/O pref in PT.

Currently mixing on headphones... Tried 3 different input jacks. Also tried both headphone outputs 1/2.

Now, when I start a fresh session, then pan I can see the audio on the master fader going from one side to the other... Which mean PT is panning, makes me think it's an interface issue. I do have the volume issue, where I pan hard right and the volume goes down as I pan....

I have done a lot of searching on the web and tried a handful of things so far and no luck...

Here are a few screen shots, thank in advance!

~Cory

Cory, i think you need to set analog output 1/2 in the "router" page of the 2626 software to "sw return 1/2". This is where you tell the 2626 where to map the output of your DAW to physical outputs. Looks like you set 1/2 in your mixer window to "sw return 1/2" so then you have to further route the software to the physical outputs in the "router" window. It's confusing software but this is probably the window where your problem can be solved. Not clear on how the headphone outs are routed but I think this is your issue.

@Benny_Cha_Cha

I tried this and still nothing... However something new I noticed, now when I pan on the interface hard left and hard right on inputs 1&2 it mutes like normal. Then I turn them both to dead center on the interface then when I pan in pro tools no more loss of audio panning left to right. Still isn't panning though...
