Default can't get control-arrow left or arrow right to adjust the fade shape

Can anybody give me any ideas as to why I can't get control-arrow left or arrow right to adjust the fade shape in the fades dialogue box? I've been through my OSX prefs 2 or 3 times now and have all the keyboard shortcuts turned off but still can't get this to work.

Anyone??

I know the keys are working because I've found that control-left and control-right are shortcuts in the timeline to centre the beginning or end of an edit selection. But they won't work in the fades dialogue box?

Thx,
JR

Works fine here with arrow left/right when the fade window is open.

Ya I'm an idiot, they work fine. Postman got me, I was hitting control instead of command. I've only been using PT since v4 - face palm :)

Thanks!
