Default Air vs Avid Xpand!2 installation

There are now 2 Xpand!2 libraries on my system. They look identical. A ".big" file that's 1.57GB. How do I get rid of one while still making sure AAX/AU/VST versions can all see the sounds?

Get rid of one and reassign the path to the other one.

I was puzzled at first because there's no button or anything to change path. But yeah: just trash one of the libraries, restart the DAW, pull up Xpand, and it prompts you to browse for the directory. Thanks.

Next question: I have AIEP3 Complete. Avid app manager thinks I should update to First Air Instruments 2018.1.1. Should I? Seems the only thing missing from AIEP3 is Boom, and I believe I once read that Structure Free overwrites Structure and licenses get screwed up, which I definitely DON'T want to happen. (Sidenote: Avid store has a 2018.3 installer. But it doesn't seem to let you install individual instruments.)

Worst case scenario I can live without Boom.

I'm always reluctant to make changes to a working system that isn't missing a tool or update that is critically needed. Plus, I have experienced undesired situations with AIR updates in the past. So, if you do decide to go down this potential rabbit hole, please remember to clone or image your system first.
