Some people like the sound of machine music, and some people prefer human music. It's not really right or wrong either way. The thing I like about Elastic is that you get to kind of "play" the part in non-real time, ending up with a funky goo that no algorithm could ever simulate. But for some musical styles/tastes, fixing things to a grid is what takes it to happy land. When that's what you want, quantization is unbeatable.

No matter what you choose to do, be sure to remember to duplicate the track first, it may sound different to you in the morning.
