If they are reading this forum, the things I would suggest for their amps is to include two IR slots, use a folder based system for the IR's categorized by manufacturer (Diezel cabs, Engls cabs, etc...) because as it stands now you have to scroll through a huge flat list.

AND include a USER option that lets you load your own IR's. Audio Assault got this right with their latest amp Hellbeast.

Oh, AND GIVE ME THE HERBERT!

(by 'give me' i mean I'll pay for it, just make it available for native so I don't have to buy an Apollo)

and NOT this Herbert!

They always have the "no cab" option, you can use Pulse or this https://www.stltones.com/products/st...plug-in-bundle which has been recently ported to AAX (nice amp included too).
The folder thing would be great, it brings a lot of advantages, I would like to see Waves create a dedicated preset window that didn't close as soon as you select a preset, especially for their VIs.
I too will pay for them...at sale prices of course

I know they have No Cab, but I like to work in as few plugins as possible. I use Redwirez MixIR2 when I need an IR loader since I have the whole Big Box bundle. It's just faster to select the IR's and scroll through in a single plugin like you can in the Waves PRS amps or AA Hellbeast.

The sound.

It's totally different in the mids from the VH4 to my ears. It sounds more brutal.

We'll have the full tutorial and demo of the Brainworx DIEZEL VH4 up in a few minutes. For those who already know the PA amps you will already know how everything works, but there's plenty of audio samples in the video too.

I don't know, it sounds really good (especially with the Mid carved out) but does it unseat the Brainworx ENGL E646 VS... that's a tough question.

What do you guys think about the subscription options at PA now?

With my heavy hitters discount I can get it for $179 a year. That's not horrible considering I spend more than that per year at PA, but the downside is you don't own the plugins.

For those that have spent hundreds/thousands with PA this subscription deal sucks. You get zero credit for anything you now own outright. Supposedly according to emails that PA sent out the discounts were going to be based on what plugins you already own from PA except that hasn't happened. Everyone is getting the same discount. So much for customization of said 'discounts'. What's not known is if you have to keep your daw computer online or not. I sure as hell am NOT going the subscription route.

Also along the insanity route is the prices for the six new plugins. Not all that much of a discount and more like what they used to call intro prices with so-called heavy hitters (where you own 20 or more individual plugins from them) getting an extra discount. Ain't happening anymore. At least with the 'intro' prices for the new plugins dynamic pricing is in effect whereas it wasn't before.
