If you have just bought PT9HD you can get PT10HD for free?

PT9HD upgrade from PT8HD is 289EUR?

INSANE!

Extremely high software upgrade and extremely high prices to upgrade to the new hardware.

I also hate how it is like they are punishing us for not upgrading to earlier versions.

Upgrades should look like this:

$1000 - Pt HD 9 - PT HD 10
$1250 - PT HD 8 - PT HD 10
$1400 - PT Earlier - PT HD 10

Not like this:

$1000 - PT HD9 - PT HD 10
$1500 - PT HD8 - PT HD 10
$2500 - PT HD earlier - PT HD 10

It is like they are punishing you for the longer you have gone without buying the upgrades. I hate that business model.

So all people who did not upgrade to Pro Tools 9 HD now have a $150 extra penalty for not upgrading. Doesn't make any sense.

for 64bit this is awesome - look at the price of other competitors that are useful for post and 64 bit

its rumored to be 10,000 without the cross grade and thats for 1 card
but this is still a rumor for 1 more month and that comes with an IO I believe
